The Marina

 

The ever popular Marina, is home of the Palace of Fine Arts.  Also a great attraction is the Marina Green, where one can jog, sunbathe, or stroll by the bay. There is a pedestrian path, extending to Crissy Field. There is a variety of shops, coffee houses, fine restaurants.  There is a large Safeway on Marina Blvd. Fort Mason offers many cultural events. Marina Junior High School is home in the Marina. Views of the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge, the bay, sail boats, cruise ships and tug boats are seen by many residents.

Pacific Heights

 

Sweeping views of the bay, Alcatraz and Marin County are big parts of Pacific Heights. The makeup of this area is mansions and apartment buildings.

Presidio Heights

 

This neighborhood by the Presidio and California St. has some of the most sought after properties in the city. Cow Hollow is home to may young professionals and is characterized by quaint homes and apartments. Shopping is on Union St. There are many great restaurants, shops and coffee houses on the street, Union Street is one of the cities tourist attractions. The MUNI runs on Union St. and on Van Ness Ave.
