The world famous Chinatown brings  hundreds of thousands of tourists to San Francisco each year. Riding a cable car up to Nob Hill passing the renowned Fairmont and Mark Hopkins Hotels is one of the highlights. Shops line Grant Ave. as well as many restaurants. Leaving Chinatown, you enter the famous Northbeach, known as little Italy of the West. There are many Italian restaurants, coffee houses, the beautiful St. Peter and Paul's church across from Washington Square. Buses Run on Columbus Ave.

Russian Hill

 

Home of Lombards St., the crookedest street in the world. The homes on Russian Hill are some of the most interesting in San Francisco. Many of the homes offer beautiful views of the city, bay and Telegraph hill. The famous Coit Tower is located on Russian Hill.

Financial District

(or "Wall Street of the West")

 

Home of the famed Jackson Square. The Embarcadero has brought increased housing. There are condos in some of the newer office buildings and developments for large apartment complexes. On weekends many events take place such as the farmers market and ice skating. During the Holidays, Union Square and the Embarcadero Center offer great shopping.  The BART as well as the MUNI are available.

 

Nob Hill

 

Nob Hill offers some of the most beautiful hotels, apartments and flats, but very few single family residences.
