SUMMERTIME

Summer is here. This means “flowertime”, and with that in mind make certain you visit our beautiful Cayuga Park. Demi the Master Gardener made the most out of a small plot of land. For the children the playground has swings and slides, and for the adults, tennis and basketball courts. Both facilities are supervised by a full time Recreation Director. Check at the Cayuga Clubhouse for summer events for the children.
 

CAYUGA IMPROVEMENT ASSOC.

Officers were installed at the Cayuga Improvement Association’s June meeting. A very nice, light dinher was served, and several new members showed up. It is pleasant to live in an area where the neighbors are friendly and show pride in their homes.

House Detective will be featuring a home in Cayuga Terrace. Look for it. It will probably be sometime in the fall. When I find out the exact date I will let you know.

CAYLJGA TERRACE’S EASY
DELICIOUS CORNBREAD RECIPE

1 box Trader Joe’s cornbread mix.
1 Egg
1/2 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
3/4 cup regular milk
1 can 303 size kernel corn (drained)
Preheat oven to 350 F. Beat egg, oil, corn, and milk into cornbread mix, stirring in a large mixing bowl until moistened. Do not over
mix. Pour batter into greased or oiled 8x8x2 pan. Bake until golden brown (approx. 35 to 45 minutes).
Insert a knife in the center until it comes out clean..
This is delicious served warm with butter or pure natural honey..
